Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to learn about your life and your culture. I learn more about the lives of others from inside a host’s home than I could ever learn from a hotel room.

Interests

As for what I do for fun, I love learning and experiencing new things. I listen to podcasts while driving, usually educational and entertaining stuff. I have a not so secret desire to be a sommelier so I attend wine tastings every week, beer samplings sometimes too and I'm teaching myself about the world of whiskey. I listen to mostly hip hop and indie rock and I play a little guitar, but you can find something from almost every genre in my music collection. I have been checking out classic jazz recently. I like to work out, so I do it as often as I can. I love to cook new dishes with friends. I recently learned to cook a lemon caper pasta dish and I would be happy to share my knowledge if you want.
