About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Europe: Germany, Switzerland, Italy

ABOUT ME

I'm a college student with ambition, drive, and direction. That direction includes vacations and adventure. Life isn't meant for slaving away for money that you do nothing with - once you have enough for an adventure, take one! That's what I'm doing right now, and it's about time for lift-off! (As of May 2013).

PHILOSOPHY

Life is there for fulfillment - have your fill, help others get their fill, and don't let anyone stop anyone else from getting their fill (unless it involves them preventing another's fulfillment!). Don't always plan for the future - at some point, you have to DO. If you have to sign a waiver, it's probably worth doing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently not in a stable housing arrangement, so mostly I'll be surfing, not boarding, but I'd love to meet fellow surfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Currently nothing other than crashing on family and friends' couches - Hopefully lots to come!

Music, Movies, and Books

Country Music, Good Movies (you know them when you see them), Superhero movies (they don't always fall under "Good", but I like them the same), SciFi/Fantasy/Adventure books (almost any and all), Thrillers (book and movies)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Tough Mudder. I just finished the Tough Mudder of West Virginia, USA on April 21, 2013 - it was a blast. Definitely really intense and WV is one of the most hilly I've ever seen, and I ran in those hills! Definitely worth doing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Never underestimate the power of determination. (I suppose that's pretty philosophical, but still worth noting.)
That said, I can teach some Wing Chun (Kung Fu) to martial arts enthusiasts (and would love to learn anything myself). I'm also a science geek and love to read, so pick a topic and we'll see how long we can keep the conversation rolling - my money is on hours, not minutes - and we'll both learn lots.
