ABOUT ME

I am a junior in college studying computer and electrical engineering. I currently attend the University of Missouri, but I'll be studying abroad at the University of Manchester next fall semester (2014) with one of my hometown friends where we plan to travel throughout Europe. I'd like to think that I'm pretty easy going and I obviously love to travel.

PHILOSOPHY

There are no regrets in life, only lessons. Try to be a better person tomorrow than you are today.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no previous experience in couch surfing, but my sister spent a year in Europe and strongly recommended it.

Interests

Ohh boy, the better question is what don't I enjoy. I love soccer, so studying abroad in Manchester is going to be an amazing experience for me. I also love science, so I hope to make it to Geneva, Switzerland to check out Cern's LHC.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to anything from progressive house to country. I hope to find more local music from some of the countries I visit next year.

Movies: I always love a good comedy, but I really enjoy movies that keep me wondering. The more the ending surprises me the better.

Books: Biographies are always a good choice, but, like movies, the bigger the plot twist the better. Futuristic dystopias, Chuck Palahniuk, 1984, HP, World War Z, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most of my favorite moments have occurred when I've been traveling. Experiencing the brutally cold wind at the peak of Whistler Blackcomb as I stare down the snow-covered mountain and standing on top of the "t" on the iAmsterdam sign as I gazed out into the park are just two of my many favorite memories.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to be able to lend out my couch when I get back from Europe. I live in a college town and hope that I can help students from other colleges (or really anyone for that matter) find a couch to crash on.
