HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I actively spread the word of couchsurfing whenever I meet travelers. I also host whenever and surf wherever I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted my first ever couchsurfers in December 2010. Since then I've surfed in Dubai and China and have had an incredible time with my amazing hosts and fellow travelers. The variety of characters I've met is simply extraordinary.

I served as an air traffic controller for the military, which was a pretty neat gig.

Some memorable travel experiences:

Almost stepped on a giant centipede in Taman Negara. Fell off a horse in Tasmania. Was pick-pocketed in Barcelona. Slept in the Merzouga desert. Dived with sharks, octopuses and rays off the Phi Phi islands. Launched an awe-inspiring load of fireworks in Phuket. Drove a Ferrari 458 Italia across the UAE. Climbed a mountain path with a sheer 2km drop off a cliff near Xi'an. Stood for an overnight 13-hour train ride to Beijing. Swam in the Adriatic. Penetrated a shipwreck off Boracay. Drove a Porsche GT3 in Brisbane. Swam with three manta rays off Komodo Island. Drove the twisty bits of Cyprus. Survived a Hollywood-esque car crash in the Australian Outback.
