My name is Kyle, I'm a Southern California Native. My interests include, but are not limited to: FOOD, Scuba Diving, Music, Playing Guitar, Frisbee, Fitness, Kayaking, Climbing, MOTORCYCLES, Animals, Movies, Spelunking, Karaoke, and General Shenanigans.

I don't smoke (anything) and I don't drink-so you'll never have to worry about some drunk guy stumbling in late and throwing up on your favorite rug...or toking up in a non-toking bedroom and setting your curtains/house on fire. If for some reason you think my lack of recreational drug use makes me boring, I assure you, your prejudices are inaccurate. I'm also totally cool with others partaking in these leisure activities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I quit my lucrative sales job back in December of 2014 to travel a bit and try my hand in the SCUBA industry. I started 2015 with a Dive Master certification course and spent the first 4 months working on a dive boat in Khao Lak, Thailand. The job was loads of fun, but got rather repetitive-so now I'm off to fulfill my lifelong dream of living in Australia.

I'd like to Couchsurf somewhere in Sydney until I gain some employment and get my feet under me. Maybe learn a thing or two from a local about this strange land of deadly creatures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I love 70's, 80's 90's and current Rock. Instrumental movies scores are rad. Some Electro is cool, and of course I have my guilty pop pleasures.

Movies: I'd like to say I enjoy a wide variety of films, recently I've been on a bit of a documentary kick which has been educational and somewhat depressing. Aside from that, I enjoy comedies-from smart weird and witty Wes Anderson style to dumb and dumber. Action movies are cool-as long as they're not too far fetched. Drama's are great-I just watched The Imitation Game...Terrific. I've even been known to enjoy a chick flick or two depending on the company.

Books: Dan Brown novels are so much fun to read-though quite similar. American Psycho was a fantasticly dark and sick satire of 80's yuppie culture and Ender's Game is one of my all time favorites.

I have 3 years of experience in the natural food industry. I could teach anyone about how to eat clean, foods/ingredients to avoid, and other general food knowledge.
