Overview
About Me
I'm a fun loving young professional working in (and passionate for) groundwater quality. I hope to be attending graduate school soon to pursue this passion further. I've traveled the world and the United States mostly staying in Airbnbs, but being a social being, I enjoy meeting people along the way. I know Couchsurfing fosters this well, and I'd like to meet people as I see the world! My profile says I'm learning Spanish and Portuguese, but go easy on me, I'm very much a beginner. I'm likely one of the least picky and easiest-to-get-along-with people you will ever meet. Ask me about any of my interests! LGBT+
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve traveled a decent amount and have stayed in Airbnbs most of the time. However, I found that my most memorable experiences were meeting my hosts, locals, and fellow travelers. I don’t need fancy accommodations, just a safe, clean place to sleep, shower, and occasionally eat. I would rather sacrifice fancy hotel lobbies for a good conversation.
Interests
Swimming, cycling, running, hiking, soccer, music, good conversation. You name it, I probably like it.

Music, Movies, and Books
If you put the entirety of Spotify on shuffle, that’s what I listen to. I love a good drama film that makes you think/feel. Happy endings not necessary. I’m not much of a reader, but I’m trying to be. Currently reading a Jeffery Archer novel. Podcasts give me life. I'm currently finishing up Dan Carlin's series on WWI.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I completed my first triathlons in spring 2018. I hope to eventually move somewhere that allows me to pursue this sport more and eventually compete in an iron man.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching people about the things that I’m passionate about or about the things I’ve recently learned.
I’m a sponge for knowledge, both useless and useful. I love learning new skills, games, and activities.
I love sharing experiences and stories. I’m a social butterfly, so things experienced alone just don’t seem quite as meaningful.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m quite upbeat and cheerful, so I hope to be able to share positivity, stories, and good vibes. Have a beer with me?
