About Me
My name is Kyle and I'm 28 years old and trying to live authentically and follow my passions in life. I was born in Japan, moved to Canada, and then San Francisco. Since then I've been living my life in and around the Pacific Ocean. After college, I started an ocean adventure company in San Diego teaching people to shark and scuba dive.
Now I film goofy animals underwater for a career!
You'll be hard pressed to catch me without a smile on my face.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Although a country may hold landmarks, and the landscape may be beautiful...
I'm a big believer that it's the relationships you make along the way that make life worth living. I'm couch-surfing to travel meet people, to get out of the city centers and make friends I hope to hold on to and maybe see back in San Diego!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There have been times where I fend off great whites with a mopstick...the mop stick is actually industry standard.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach people about my passion, the ocean. Whether I'm teaching a friend how to scuba dive or a stranger how to be calm in the water with sharks, sharing the ocean with people is one of my favorite past times.
