About Me
CURRENT MISSION
discover the ultimate peanut butter sandwich recipe
****AND travel the southern states in Sturdy Ernie, my custom build camper mobile that I'm living in as I traipse about the USA and Mexico for an undetermined amount of time.
ABOUT ME
Non-smelly, open minded, easy-going, occasionally described as odd. I get a kick out of being in nature - birds, rocks, trees - you can't go wrong! I also get a kick out being amongst people. I'm in my element in a room full of strangers. So I guess I want to be in a forest with a bunch of strangers. With a selection of baked goods and dancefloor. and cheap beer.
I travel when I can which is never enough (mostly small trips). I value experiences over material goods, though I do have a mild addiction to garage sales (of course I need a vintage fondue set! I'm gonna use it all the time right...). It's always cool beans meeting new people and learning new perspectives on the world so I try to put myself into that position as much as possible. My current favourite cereal is Corn Bran Squares - sounds boring as hell but there is just something about them...
I pay for my cereal with a small company I started a few years ago. We do data visualization/analytics consulting like schtuff. If you want to geek out and talk data - I'm your human!
PHILOSOPHY
life's about contrast- you need the sweet and the salty, the good and the bad, the tuna salad and the chicken salad ("actually salmon is the opposite of tuna, they swim up the current while tuna swim with it"-J). to be honest I don't think you need tuna, salmon or chicken. I think the meat industry is one of the major contributors that is driving our world into the ground (check out Cowspiracy doc, they have the details).
without that contrast everything is just grey...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i've explored cities with and without couchsurfing. surfing is by far that best way to make real connections with people. i generally seek out alternative and counter cultures - which you can't really find on the google but couchsurfers can always seem to point me in the right direction...
