Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the U.S. in search of the human experience, for myself and for others who have affected me, to find happiness in this life that we live.
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in the Atlanta area, beginning in Stone Mountain and ending in Grayson. I graduated the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2010 with a B.F.A. in Film & Television.
Relatively quiet, I speak only when I have something worthwhile to say. I hold great importance in the friends I have around me, and would do anything for them, whether they know it or not.
PHILOSOPHY
I am not just Kyle Wietbrock. I am a collection of all those whom I have met and the experiences that have arisen from those relationships. Every person that I know and interact with changes me, allows me to grow and develop, and ultimately affects the way I think and view the rest of my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Haven't had the pleasure of being able to host anyone as of yet as I am fairly new to the CS community. Currently on an extended trip so will probably be doing a lot more surfing than hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Been able to stay with quite a few hosts and overall I have to say the entire experience has been awesome. It's really incredible how welcoming and hospitable people across the U.S. have been to us, they really are what make the journey so unique and memorable. I look forward to meeting more people across the states and am sure that more good times are to follow.
Interests
I enjoy art in all its forms, learning about how others choose to live their lives, and contemplating space/time (who doesn't?).

-Just about any western: Once Upon a time in the West, How the West was Won, and the Searchers are probably the top of my list.
-Wings of Desire
-Nights of Cabiria
-The Passion of Joan of Arc
-Pulp Fiction
-Baraka
-The Class
-Once Upon a time in America
-Taxi Driver
I'll have to get back to this section as it really could go on forever.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was on TV one time.
Teach, Learn, Share
The key to good, crispy sweet potato fries is cornstarch. Before frying/baking, soak the cut potatoes in water for about an hour. Drain. Then, give them a light coating of cornstarch (I usually put a couple of tablespoons and shake them around in bowl). Cook, and BAM!!! non-limp sweet potato fries.
Also, if you have never tried dipping them in maple syrup, try it. Trust me, better than mayonnaise.
