I am a very caring individual, willing to give a hand to help out, someone who will listen, someone to laugh with and someone to cry with

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couched surfed but a friend had recommended that I give it a try and so here I am. I'm a pretty down to earth kind of guy, very eager to learn about people, places, customs and whatever one has to share. I have done a few homes stays while travleing in Africa-I've met some of the most wonderful people while traveling as well as travelers that I've met while in my daily.

I love wildlife-have worked with a number of orgainzations doing rescue, rehabilitation of both domestic and exotic animals. I am an adventure seeker and enjoy trekking thru the forests, the deserts, just about anywhere not inhabited by many people. I enjoy hiking, swimming, white water rafting, cycling, working out, running with my dogs, and enjoy meeting people from all walks of life.

I have read a number of books throughout my life-the ones that stand out at the moment-"Awakening the Buddha within," "Jitterbug Perfume," "Poisonwood Bible," "Catcher in the Rye," to name just a few. As far as movies-my favorite Director is Pedro Almodovar

I've been fortunte to have lived a good life-having done many things I've wanted to do. My most amazing time I've had was in the Republic of Congo working with rehabilitating chimpanzees-my time in the rain forest there was amazing.
