About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Host once I have my own apartment! Also to take a Southeast Asia trip.
ABOUT ME
I am currently a college student studying Accounting and Business at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. I'm originally from Long Island, New York where I grew up very much on and around the water. I immensely enjoy travelling and meeting new people, I always strive to keep an open mind, and there are very few people that I am unable to get along with!
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live!
"Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk. That will teach you to keep your mouth shut." -Ernest Hemingway
"Peculiar travel suggestions are dancing lessons from God." -Kurt Vonnegut
"I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different." -Kurt Vonnegut
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a student travelling abroad so at the moment I am participating in surfing (but also mean to get involved with more local events). However, upon my return to the states, I plan on hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Absolutely positive and wonderful. I have surfed a few couches thus far and everyone I have met has been kind, welcoming, friendly, and genuinely interesting to meet and get to know

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite genre of music would have to be 80's and new wave including: Blondie, Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, and many more. I also really enjoy Jazz, my favorite being late 50's early 60's cool jazz and bossa nova like: Stan Getz, The Dave Brubeck Quartet, Wayne Shorter, Thelonious Monk, and Mingus- but really I love it all. I read quite a bit and some of my favorite authors include Hemingway, F Scott Fitzgerald, Carson McCullers, Kurt Vonnegut, Bukowski, and Tom Wolfe. I would say my top favorite books are: For Whom the Bell Tolls, Atlas Shrugged, A Farewell to Arms, Breakfast of Champions, and The Heart is a Lonely Hunter. I absolutely love movies- too many to list! But I always enjoy anything with Woody Allen, Michael Caine, Vincent Price, or Paul Giamatti.
