Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel couch surfing is a more authentic form of traveling than staying in a cushy hotel or hostel. I believe people make experiences unforgettable and having the opportunity to stay in the home of someone really teaches things you cannot learn from a history book or guided tour.
