While I was born in the USA (Boston), I've grown up between the states and Europe, living abroad for the last decade (minus Covid times).

I've traveled to 35 countries, learned a few languages, and actively tried to engage in culture exchanges and expanding my understanding and expression in this world.

I've been told that I'm quiet a caring, relaxed kind of guy, that probably likes to talk a bit too much. :P I'm quite an open person, always looking to engage with someone and share a story or two. I also love to cook, write and read, and just generally enjoy life whenever and wherever I'm able.

Because I love to travel and love sharing and creating memories!

I love learning about different countries and cultures, and I love having more and more friends from all around the world!

Also, as I writer I'm always finding some inspiration for my many screenplays and writing endeavours!

As far as why I'm hosting on Couchsurfing, you may have noticed that my profile has a preference towards hosting women. That's not a coincidence, but rather an intention that's in line with my own ideology. Since I started using this site I've heard soooo many negative stories, experiences, and situations that women were subject to when Hosted by men. I started using this site in 2015, and the very first thing I was told by the woman who introduced it to me has always rung true- "It's not a dating site. It's not travel-Tinder. It's a place to make life-long friends from all over the world". As a life-long feminist, I've decided to actively create and facilitate a space where women can surf, travel, and explore the world without fear or concern of disrespectful and predatory men.
*Note- I have no issue hosting men/NBs, but my preference is towards hosting women as a means of creating and facilitating a safe space.*

I would encourage you to take a look at some of my references; experienced members like Leilane or Anna, to newer members like Zoe and Anais. This space is something I'm actively and intentionally working to create, and I look forward to hosting you and continuing to build upon it as well!

Idk about 'amazing' but I find it noteworthy: I managed to survive a fatal car accident; resulting in a 4 week coma, sever brain damage, lung damage, nearly total memory loss, full body paralysis, and permanent eye damage, to reach optimal health and happiness; traveling the world, earning multiple degrees, and exploring/expressing myself further every day!
A day doesn't go by in which I'm not effected, influenced, or impacted by those struggles, as they continue to guide me forward.
