ABOUT ME

I graduated in 2002 from the University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in English and Art History, and my studies also include time at Cambridge University in the U.K. Short of picking up phrases like "cheers" and an affinity for "a good curry," the experience was more social than academic.

Right now, I'm a college counselor, but that will draw to a close in January 2010 when I embark on a new journey around Europe. Check-out my blog for more details: www.culinaryhopscotch.blogspot.com. And don't be surprised if I ask to CS with you!

Other random factoids: I was one of 25 women picked to be on "The Bachelor," a random reality dating show. It was filmed in Paris in the fall of 2005, and was quite a funny experience. I also made an appearance as a hair model on another show called "Shear Genius" in 2007. While you might catch me on a reality show re-run if you're in California, you're more likely to find me at Angel Stadium watching baseball with my best friend. I'm also a huge football fan, both the U.S. and rest-of-the-world variety. I played field hockey, soccer/football, and softball when I was in high school, but that was a few moons ago.

I'm new to the CS community, but think this is such a great thing. Right now, I'm limited in my hosting abilities because of my living situation, but would be open to hosting in the future. I can't wait for my first stay on someone's couch!
