After spending the past 4 years living in Sydney, I decided it was time to get out and see the world. My partner and I sold all our belongings and bought tickets to Europe, deciding to travel through Asia on the way. The past 3 months we have worked our way from Thailand to India, but now are just beginning the European part of our adventure...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm always up for a bit of socializing, whether its meeting up for a coffee and a chat, a night out for some dancing and hopefully a few games of pool, or just playing tourist in my own city and checking out the museums etc. I also love organizing events... Shall we plan something??

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Sydney we constantly had people crashing at our place and I was happy to have some company, as well as getting the chance to play tour guide.. its funny how many touristy things you don't do in your own country until you have visitors!!

Interests

I love food... (I guess that comes from working in the industry.) Whether its organising a dinner party, picnic, bbq, cook off or just going out to try a new restaurant or cafe. And of course I love the wine that goes hand in hand with food! I also love travelling (who doesn't) and learning new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I always hate this question... I am currently working through the list of all those classic movies I should have seen and havn't. Im sure upon meeting you will have a few more to add to my list (Crocodile Dundee is my next to see, how can I be Australian and not have seen it!) Music... I shazam everything these days so my collection is growing, but I moreso love the old stuff. Books... currently reading from the list of 1001 books you must read before you die.. Most recent 'the kite runner.'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have to pick just one amazing thing??? How can I do that when my past 3 months have included Angkor Wat, Halong Bay, The Great Wall of China, Mt Everest and the Taj Mahal...

Hmmmm, I dont specialize in teaching anything in particular... Im still trying to discover that hidden talent I have. But Im always up for a chat and love to learn new things... as well as exploring and discovering new places. I've most recently spent some time studying Environmental social science, before now moving onto Environmental Management so always up for a chat about the world and its problems!
