ABOUT ME

Very social, fun-loving Qld girl - moved to Perth in march 05 for uni, and have really enjoyed Perth so far, especially the stunning sunsets and nice, laid back people! (apart from the bad drivers!! haha)

I'm a bit of a professional student, just finished my 3rd/4th degree in vet science - They say 'real' doctors treat more than one species! :-p I've always wanted to 'do vet' but just took the scenic route to get there! haha

In addition to my love for animals, I'm a bit of a social butterfly and luv going out - be it pubs or clubs, movies, dinner/lunch/coffee, visiting friends, dvd nights, shopping, day trips etc...Its not to hard to twist my arm, its rare for me to be at home on a Friday nite, and I'll pretty much try anything once! (especially if u use my stubborn streak against me!) haha

It wouldn't surprise me if I end up a crazy old cat lady....the most reliable males in my life are my 2 Burmese boys, Mocha & Chino! :-p

PHILOSOPHY

I have spiritual beliefs, and also believe strongly in the power of the mind and laughter - 'stressing' about a situation does nothing to help or solve it! Our thoughts certainly can shape our reality...I've always been more of an optimist than a pessimist!

Also a big believer in Karma, hence I think a site like this can work as I'm assuming its made up of all gr8, friendly people! ;-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Moved to Leederville in Dec 09 - I have 2 rooms (my bedroom and a spare room) downstairs and a bathroom. My spare room isnt very big but has a couch which folds out to a double bed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none yet but keen to try it! :-p

I've met a few awesome CS's in Perth who've been staying with friend's tho :-)

Intereses

Socialising, jewellery making, pilates, sleeping in, traveling, interesting ppl and conversations, having fun in general.... :-p

Dont get to read much apart from uni books unless its holidays or plane trips, but then I luv Anne Rice's stuff, the Twilight series were gr8 (yes I kno I'm not 15, but I'm not alone there! haha)....luv vampire stuff in general!

Any kind of movie, except probably horror? haha

Have seen some (what I would consider) 'cool vet stuff' but to non-vet ppl it may be just weird or gross! haha
