Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by hosting when I can or when someone is looking for a couch in Reno. I have done a lot of surfing abroad and have loved getting to know my hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had really great experiences both as a surfer and a host. It is so nice to experience a city with a local as well as to be able to show someone new the best parts of your town.

Interests

I can become interested in pretty much anything but my main passions are Ultimate Frisbee, climbing, biking, reading, passing time with good friends and enjoying a lazy summer day at the river.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've watched a lot of period piece films. My favorite is the BBC Pride and Prejudice. If you want to get nerdy about Jane Austin I'm down.
I love Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, Cut Copy and Pretty Lights.
I enjoy fiction and poetry. I got my degree in creative writing with a fiction emphasis so that's my main passion. I love Sherman Alexi's work as well as David Mitchell's "Cloud Atlas".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched a lunar eclipse with my sister and a forest full of critters.
