ABOUT ME

Once upon a time I would roam about, finding gorgeous things to occupy my time. I climbed onto the rooftops of abandoned silos and warehouses in Montreal, slowdanced on rooftops in San Fransisco, drank beers on rooftops in New York and Kitchener. I've ridden horses up mountains, drove tractor, and milked cows. I've stuck out my thumb more times than I'll ever remember. I've gambled away a truckers money in Las Vegas ended up winning big. I've skiied up mountains in Jasper, surfed on the private shores of Fargus Island. Every day I have a bad case of nostalgia for a different place. I dream about the skills I will one day have.

Things that i miss about other places: roadbikes on hot pavement. Red canyons in the southern states. Rompin around New Orleans. Biking around Montreal streets with beers and musicians. Ex-lovers. A canoe and an orange Yukon sunset. Fixing bikes. Dancing to funk music. Morning espresso.

Oh, and i like scavenging stuff, all kinds of stuff, mostly old things that are far more beautiful than anything you can get nowadays.

i would like to kayak north. probobly up the coast of labrador sometime before or after elsmere island. i would like to be a cowboy proper. i like utah. i like country music in the cabs of transport trucks.
