My Costa Rican dog and I are out to discover the West...hoping to make Santa Fe or surrounding mountains home for a good while, find some good friends and share some adventures out in the Great Outdoors.

ABOUT ME

i've been a Segway tour guide for the past 3 years, as well as tour managing French and Spanish groups for about the last 10 yrs. i play violin, guitar, and sing; speak fluent French and Spanish and a bit of Italian and Portuguese; Love biking, yoga, dogs, (i dog-sit for all my friends and now have a dog that adopted me when I lived in Costa Rica) cooking and wine, and meeting interesting eclectic people. I absolutely love being outdoors and doing all sorts of adventurous activities...hoping to go paragliding again sometime soon and hike in all of the National Parks I have yet to see. I love traveling: studied in Paris, lived in Mexico and Costa Rica, and have traveled all over western europe, to Kenya, South Africa, and all over the US. There is a lot more planet out there to see, and i intend to do my best to see it. Mostly i'm interested in meeting people around the globe,seeing beautiful scenery, getting a glimpse into other people's lives and philosophies, and sharing the beauty and magic of life! :) "am i part of the cure, or am i part of the disease?"

PHILOSOPHY

i believe that GRATITUDE, FORGIVENESS, TRUST, and HONOR are the cornerstones of life. i love the Goethe quote: Be bold and mighty forces will come to your aid. i think it could also be "Be grateful and mighty forces will come to your aid." Along those same lines, i firmly believe that you get what you expect in life. its pretty amazing how you can direct your life with positive energy and a happy persona. Seredipity happens.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hoping to connect with fellow travelers to swap travel stories and hear about cool things they may have in their home town. Once I'm a host, I'll be happy to recommend all sorts of things to see and do...hosting is in my blood, for some reason. I genuinely like to show people around and hook them up with cool local restaurants, cafes, outings, etc. Actually hoping to open my own B&B one day for that reason.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did a little Couchsurfing in Asheville a few years ago but I have traveled around the world via a ton of hostels, having even lived and worked in a few in Miami and in Costa Rica. i'm traveling with my guitar so i'd love to sing and play for you if you want (zero obligations)...or play with you if you are also a musician. i also love to cook, so i'd be happy to make and share a meal or two :)

Gratitude, Forgiveness, and Trust are the cornerstones of life. there are always 2 voices in your head, and one of them is always wrong. thoughts = imagination, so don't struggle with your imagination; put it to work for you. be happy and you attract good fortune. Be honest in action and polite in opinion. God gives every bird its food, but he doesn't throw it in its nest. If you haven't made at least 10 mistakes today you aren't trying hard enough. Take a risk...you might surprise yourself. French fries dipped in truffle aioli is a magical experience.
