I grew up wanting to be a school teacher almost all the time. But when I became a public school teacher, I didn't like it so much. There are lots of things I felt sorry for kids. Then I searched for a better way of education and met an alternative school called Grassroots School in Florida. I stayed there for a year and that experience led me to open a democtratic school here in Japan. I love being with happy kids.
