Overview
About Me
I was majoring in psychology for three ears but have recently achieved my dream of joining the bachelor of social work program here in Canada. Before achieving this, I completely stepped out of my comfort zone and studied in Poland for a semester which has my sparked my interest in trying new and slightly absurd experiences. I would be lying if I said I was an experienced traveller or was even good at it, but the love of new cultures, languages and people is more than evident. There is no better way to learn a new culture than by immersing yourself in it completely, so I am more than intrigued and kind of (absolutely) petrified to try new things as often as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think I have always followed the straight and narrow and let’s be real, I still am now just in another country. But if I have the opportunity to meet new people and try outrageous things and let it slip past my fingertips then there will be regrets, and life is much too short for regretting the things you didn’t do.
Interests
Laughing about jokes that happened months ago and drinking, whether that be coffee, kombucha or Polish vodka.

Music, Movies, and Books
My love for chill indie is unceasing, as is my obsession with Christian tunes, the violin and piano, especially put together, and soft pops. But don’t get me wrong, if you play Feel it Still by Hudson Taylor it is sure to become a dance party starring my crazy hair flip. I don’t think there’s many things that can beat a good book but my passion for reading only allows me to read during holidays or weekends otherwise I will get zero work done. I have recently become obsessed with Six of Crows and the Grisha Trilogy, so if you haven’t read it and are looking to not eat or shower for a week then find these goodies at your local second hand book store. Hacksaw Ridge and the Edge of Seventeen are two completely different ends of the movie spectrum and both deserve your full attention.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved to another continent by myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
Honestly my skills and talents are limited, aka 0, but if you are looking for solid conversation and to see pictures of my two partially hairless but fully loveable cats then I’m your girl.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Again, we return to the cat photos. I also make a mean bowl of cereal, low quality puns and I have recently discovered that I like gin so I am more than happy to share a bottle & embarrassing childhood memories.
