Hello dear couchsurfers!

My name is Kyra and it has always been a a big dream of mine to go on a long trip. In August 2023 my dream came true and I have started the journey with my boyfriend Flurin Giebel. We are trying to travel from Switzerland to Australia by surface transport. We don"t know how long it will take us... :)

I've heard so many great stories about couchsurfing. I'm really looking forward to meeting new people and their cultures.

When I return from my trip, I would love to welcome guests and show them the most beautiful places, culture, food or music of switzerland.

兴趣

I am interested in music. My main instrument is the saxophone. I love all types of music, for example I have played in jazz, blues, ska, reggae or pop bands. I have played in several clubs with the trio KTK, consisting of two DJs and me as the live saxophoneiste.
Besides music and dancing, I like hiking in the nature, play volleyball, drawing, cooking...

In Summer 2023 I visited the suleymaniye mosque in Istanbul. The carpet was soooo fluffy!😃
