Getting comfortable with my newfound adulthood

ABOUT ME

Fairly new to New Orleans and really enjoying my time here. Working at a nonprofit by day and delivering sandwiches by night. I love to travel and went to Europe the past two summers and will be going back next summer. Currently learning to play the banjo, so I hope I can find someone to teach me. I love meeting people from all over the world and like CS because it lets me do that without leaving my house!

Life is short, but while we are here we might as well help each other.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really enjoy hosting travelers and sharing my space with them. When I can, I take people out and show them the town in the evenings and on weekends. I would also like to be more involved with the CS community in New Orleans. I want to start surfing and exploring other cities when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some amazing Surfers over the summer in Prague and decided I wanted to become more active within my own community. Had the opportunity to participate in a CS scavenger hunt and met a lot of wonderful and interesting people. Looking forward to having many similar experiences!

Intereses

Traveling, bluegrass and folk music, organic gardening, volunteering, football, and basketball. I also enjoy reading, but often do not have the time or the attention span to do it as much as I would like. I really like meeting new people and watching live music. I would also like to start homebrewing!

My favorite movies are the Jerk, Away We Go, anything Wes Anderson or Mel Brooks.
