About Me
"Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony" - Gandhi
I like people, plants and places and has no plans to call anywhere home. I'm a freelance writer for the Heirloom Gardener magazine and Roads and Kingdoms and can usually (but not always) be found in Malaysia. I also write for my durian-obsessive travel blog, Year of the Durian (www.yearofthedurian.com) and take people on agro-tours to support farming communities and connect people with their food. Follow me on Instagram @durianwriter
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been a professional backpacker for 8 years and sometimes I get lonely! It's a nice place to network and find new friends and interesting people around the world.
I don't have a couch and don't have any plans to settle down, and it's unlikely I'll want to stay on your couch, but maybe we can meet up :)
