ABOUT ME

I am a sinner saved by grace...it's all about Christ.

PHILOSOPHY

Regardless of what philosophy or religion, it must answer 5 basic questions: Where did I come from, what's my purpose in life, why is there suffering in the world, what hope do I have, and what happens when I die.

There are truths that are absolute and there are truths that can be debated. In other words, some truths are vital and the correct conclusion must be derived. There are other truths that, while there are many ways to look at it and arrive at a conclusion, there is only one conclusion that is correct but it's not vital and can be debated.

The way a person lives out his/her life is determined by their philosophy. I believe that there is a God who judges everyone justly for the lives that they have lived. He is a God who hates sin and cannot be in the presence of sin. I believe that there is no way that mankind can be sinless and so therefore, it is only by the grace of God through faith in Christ that one can be sinless and be in the presence of God. Therefore, being redeemed by Christ means turning away from sin never visiting it again and to not be bonded by self condemnation because there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

I don't participate right now, since I have just been introduced to couch surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never done this before. But my friend has CouchSurfed Italy and my sister China.

I enjoy every type of music from classical orchestra to hard-hitting rap. I enjoy songs with good, clean, inspirational lyrics.

My favorite movies of all time have to be the Lord of the Ring trilogy, Gladiator, and (don't judge me) Pride and Prejudice, the newer one.

Dear books, I wish I liked you more. But I do have some favorite authors: Francis Chan, John Piper, oooo and I really enjoy the Bible.
