About Me

I'm a normal Korean who like to meet and to be friends with people around the globe!!
Currently, I'm studying Biology in Seoul National University. Within biology, I'm especially interested in Ethology(Animal behavior) and Ecology! :)

This is my Facebook profile link:

---- Now I'm planning to visit Europe for this summer (6/23 London ~ 7/28 Vienna) and I'm so excited to meet many hosts and leave wonderful memories!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I wrote multiple times in my profil, I really like to meet people from different places on the globe! Therefore I thought that it would be a much better way of trip to get deep into the culture and actually meet people!! Can someone say they visited a country without meeting up the people of the place and deeply talked with them? I don't think so!
Since Korea is becoming a more popular place to visit, I would love to share the same experience to others by hosting :))

Interests

I'm very interested in making friends and socializing! Though not much extrovert, I really love to char with small group of people. Also I'm very very(*100) interested in learning various languages!!!(As you can see in my profile :))
Finally, I like music and films! Especially, I've played Bass guitar for quite a long time :D
This is a soundcloud link where you can hear my songs :D (which I didn't compose but I've participated and recorded!)

Music, Movies, and Books

As a bass player, I usually like band music! My best bands are Dream Theater and Jamiroquai! I'm a person who listens a wide scope of music actually! Recently I've got interested in Jazz music :) I also listen to classical!
Ahhh I love Céline Dion's music!!
My best songs:
Dream Theater - The Dance of Eternity, Silent man, Six degrees of Inner turbulence
Rush - YYZ, Armor & Sword
Queen - I was born to love you, I will rock you
Jamiroquai - Love foolosophy, Runaway
Incognito - Still a friend of mine
Céline Dion - My heart will go on, L'abandon, Papillon, Les derniers seront les premiers, Tout l'or des hommes
etc...
I can lend you my iPod (which I will bring with me during a trip) with over 12000 songs and with my favourite list of songs (over 600 of them)!

I watch movie not much as I listen to music (almost always lolol) but I very enjoy watching movies! Some of my best movies were Hobbit & Lord of the Rings/ Inception/ 국가대표(Korean movie lol).
I spend a lot of time reading books during vacation or when I am realtively free during semesters. So I guess I have to say that I like reading! lol I like to read books about science, anthropology, philosophy, and psychology. For novel, my personal favorite author is Bernard Werber(The author of the "Ants").

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing memory I had was when I visited Israel as a participant of a Science Camp! (It was during a month of the summer of 2013)
The camp was fantastic for me because there was many smart and interesting friends from all around the world. (Especially from Europe) Therefore, I spent a really nice time chatting and spending time with them and learning different cultures and thinkings! This was when I really thought that I love to meet people from different part of the globe!
Also I've spent very nice time in Connecticut, US, and also Singapore!! (YAY)

What I Can Share with Hosts

When I Couchsurf, of course I can share Korean culture! (Do you know gangnam style? lolol) I'd also like to learn about the culture of the place where my host lives in!
Also, since I like languages, I'd really love to share Korean language with my host!
I'd like to make a very simple Korean food to share with my host but my food-making could be terrible :(
Finally, I'll prepare a little gift that I will give the host at the end of the surfing, and it would make the host to remember Me and Korea!! :o
