About Me

Currently unable to host due to family issues :/

2017 Mar-Jun travel to Western Europe; Oct to Japan
2018 Jan-Jun Exchange program in London * Apr-May Easter break *
2018 Jun-Jul travel to Central/Eastern Europe

Hi, I'm Peter from South Korea. I wasn't interested in getting out of my comfort zone until a couple of years ago, but now I'm trying to learn other sides of the life by seeing people in other countries, as well as other sides (unfortunately often negative) of myself.

I'm learning politics in order to have a broader sense of the world. It was hard to choose the major because I was generally interested in so many things. Recently I found that it has been quite sure that I'd continue studying for my life :/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to rely on Couchsurfing during the last year's travel because I could be naturally exposed to many unfamiliar cultures - and above all it's fun! For me, this is the easiest way to meet new people and new things.

This time I'd like to try to spend as much time as possible with hosts and have fun. One of the friends I met through Couchsurfing last year showed me a perfect example of how to get the most out of Couchsurfing. I envied her so much reading her posts about the amazing stories!

Books now reading: Basic Income: and how we can make it happen / Prisoner of geography

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I've published books!
- I ran against the wall in Utrecht while cycling :/
- I was rescued in Tatra mountains

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my life story if you are interested though I'm not sure if it can interest you, especially when so many peculiar people are here in Couchsurfing. But it might be interesting if you've never met Koreans before :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

Now learning cooking as living alone on the other side of the Earth. It's so fun to try new ingredients as well as to collect appliance
Dishes: Italian, Korean, Japanese, basically anything I can improvise.
