Hi! I'm Kazu, Japanese, I was born in Kyoto and spent for more than 20 years, I can’t speak English fluently, but I think that doesn’t matter especially for travel, so you shouldn't care about that, actually when I hosted couchsurfers in my country, nobody spoke Japanese, that's no problem.

If you’re interested in Japan or Japanese culture, I can show you something about Japan, and if you want to learn Japanese, I can help that. I just hope many people know about Japanese culture and language, it’s a kind of minor culture, we have to keep it in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just wanted to share a room, I was living at a house, there was an extra room, and I know Japan is a kind of difficult country to travel, we don't have public wifi, almost Japanese don't speak English, we don't have enough English informations for tourists, that's why I wanted to help and support.

I hosted many couchsurfers, it's about 8 times, 15 people for a half year, so NEXT, I would like to surf your couch!!
