I'm attempting to travel and collect experiences that can help me be a top notch gobal nomad and representative of the human race!

ABOUT ME

I am a British / American and proud of it. Born in Ireland but schooled in England. I moved to the states and went to University. I have 3 undergraduate degrees and am working on two graduate degrees as we speak. I love sports, animals and movies. I am a bit of an anomaly since I am a geeky – jock. I love watching American football and my favorite team is the Cleveland Browns. I played professional Volleyball for five years and blew all the money I made on hats. “JK” I love people with a sarcastic sense of humor and I can’t stand elitists. Although I came from that kind of culture and background, my parents were always mindful about keeping it real and putting me in my place when necessary. I am a Christian and try my best everyday to be a good witness without excluding people of various beliefs. I choose to see the similarities amongst us all and not the differences. My educational back ground is in Political Science and International Affairs and it is my dream to work for a non- profit that actually advances the human condition and suppresses suffering of all kinds. I’m a firm believer in Karma and I am always aware of the way that I treat people. It takes a lot to make me mad, but that is when you’ll see the Irish in me come out, otherwise the English sarcastic side usually dominates and I use my wits’ to come out on top. I’ve always rooted for the underdog and fought for causes and people that can’t fight for themselves, it’s like a Pavlovian response… I can’t help it. I detest rude people; I am always polite until the time comes to not be. I respect people who understand their own frailties and down falls and are not hypocrites. I’m so far from perfect that the light from planet perfect won’t even reach me for 2 thousand light years, but I try to go to bed each night content that I made a positive effect on someone that day, whether it be a kind word, hug or giving my time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I am renting a room in someones house and am not able to host people. Once I settle down into my own place, I would love to do so. I am new at this and am trying to let down my guard and meet new people in new ways other than in bars.
