About Me

ABOUT ME

Currently I live and work in Budapest and travel approx. 10-20% of my time in Europe due to work or leisure activities. In general I love to be outside in the nature and do all kind of sports with friends. Recently I've been learning paragliding which is highly addictive therefore I spend a serious amount of time exploring the hills and launching sites whereever I can take the wing with me. :)

I also appreciate moments like being on a road trip, meeting new friends, experiencing different cultures, learning new tricks in the french Alpes with a bunch of local snowboarders, roaming on a horseback in the hungarian forests with my family, tasting new cuisine or just cycling around in an unknown city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a host - Grab a coffee, beer or wine with CSurfers all over the world or host the dear travelers in Budapest and show them around this amazing city.

As a surfer - visit new places, learn new things from my hosts and understand their thoughts and show them the hungarian spirit. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience as a CSurfer: Me and my mate went to Oloron Ste Marie next to the Pyrenees for hiking. We spent 2 amazing days there. But the day after, when we were about to leave we realised that there was a railway strike and we were stucked in Oloron. Without asking her, our host offered us to stay one more gorgeous day. And the next morning (after a delicious breakfast) her neighbor drove us to Pau to catch the first train...So my first expression about CS is that the world is full of fascinating people and it would be a huge mistake not to meet them.

Interests

- A lot of sports: paragliding, basketball, snowboarding, surfing, sailing, scuba-diving, running, cycling, and so on.
- Listening to music: any good music regardless of genre, it rather depends on the activity I'm doing.
- Nature: at least once a week I have to escape from the "concrete jungle"
- Digital financial transformation and stock exchange (not a tipical interest in a CS profile, right?)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw and "swam" with 20 wild dolphins for 30 minutes when we were diving in the Red Sea.
+1) Managed to put my 2 months old nephew to sleep when nobody could, not even her mommy. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

To teach: bit of paragliding, lot about basketball, snowboarding, horse riding, hungarian language and "lifestyle"
