ABOUT ME

Hello! I am Louisa (mostly called Lou, or Loupy or Flousie, or Luli) and I am 22... I have been so lucky to travel a lot in my 22 years, but can't seem to get enough! I am from Tasmania and I love my little island gem of a home and the people there with whom i dance and cook and drink and explore and laugh..I love TEA! I and I love good beer... I love old-man pubs and houseparties. I cook a lot, it is my number one study procrastination and joy! Cycling in the dark in the rain! Beautiful things make me very excited. This year I'm determined to try and fulfil things I've been wanting to try for a long time so I have bought myself a guitar, an Italian grammar book and a course in printmaking - and joined the sailing club! Currently studying in Scotland for a semester, then hoping to make my way home to Australia across country with my boyfriend!Life is making me very happy right now :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed several couches recently on a cycle trip in eastern europe and it was the most memorable, surprising and wonderful part of the journey! It opens doors to completely new ways of thinking and seeing the world and has always been a very positive experience for me....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A consecutive sunset, sunrise and sunset, from the same corner of a beach on the northern tip of Kefalonia where I swam and slept and sang and feasted with some very special people for 24 hours straight :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you how to old man dance, to crochet a flower and to make yummy banana cake.. maybe not simultaneously (though im happy to try...)

To learn at the moment... my new year's resolutions of guitar-playing, italian-speaking and printmaking - any guidance welcomed!!!
