ABOUT ME

I'm a current student that has a passion for knowledge, and travel is a key to knowledge. my current majors are psychology and philosophy, with an education focus, and emphasis in ethics and society.
I am half Korean and half American and only recently have I come to appreciate my Culture, not to mention I Speak the language of both!
I'm a free thinking, or would like to think I am, I am a non conformist, even tho I conform, and I will always be a student for life.

As for my personality, I'm a passionate human being, and a very loving laid back person.

As a guest, Its my duty to not be a burden to the host, but be a gracious guest for the experience of a lifetime.

As a host, which I hope to be able to do soon, its my duty to be a well mannered, considerate host, and hospitable

Photography- I first got bit by the shutter bug in August of 2008 and haven't looked back since. I don't have much posted here on this website, but once I start Cs'ing I'm sure everyone will see!
Note: It is my Mission to capture cs'ing through photo's, So if you stay with me, or i stay with you expect to get your picture taken.

Art- Who cant appreciate art here, Part of traveling is to experience culture, and what more could you ask for! From the foods, the people, the sounds, the experience of the place. That is all an ART. Oh I enjoy to paint, tho I don't do it as often as I should, and I enjoy looking and deciphering art.

Music- I guess that is a usual thing for most people. Music is a medium that can hit your soul in a way that no other form of art can. It is a gateway to the essence of human being, I have yet to find anyone who dislikes ANY music. I've also played piano for 12 years when I was younger, now I just mess around on my piano... but I LOVE it!

Culture- I love learning and immersing myself into culture and backgrounds and believe everyone has a story to tell, its a matter of asking the right questions and having and genuine interest.

Movies:I absolutely love film, I will watch everything and anything, and give it a fair chance for me to like it. Some movies I particularly enjoyed- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Reader, Million Dollar Baby, The Visitor, Kill Bill 1&2, Monster, Shaw shank Redemption, Into the Wild, Amelia, a very long engagement, the motorcycle diaries, la via en rose, Documentaries,

Music: Way to many to count, Sigur ros, Damien rice, Radiohead, jeff Buckley, Adelle, The shins, Iron and Wine, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Kanye West, Tupac, John Legend, Johnny Cash, Jack Johnson, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, I pretty much listen to anything and will listen to anything and give anything a chance one.

Books: The Glass Castle, Atonement, The Unwanted, Running with Scissors, The Old Man and the Sea, Henry David Thoreau's work and many more

I've gotten to stay 2 weeks with Buddhist monks in Korea when I was 12, I was too young to appreciate it, but I am grateful for the experience.

I've done CPR on someone, unfortunately they did not make it. :(

I've witnessed 4 deaths in my life, their faces will always be with me.

I've gotten to work with the elderly, taking care of them, I have come to love them and appreciate them for their experience, and their views.

I grew up Biracial in a place where diversity was not the most common thing. It has taught me a lot of important things in my life.

Kayaked on the Mississippi... and swam in it, even tho people said I shouldn't... why not?

Teach: I have some talents that can be taught, such as making a clover with my tongue! :) I also speak pretty fluent Korean, so I could teach you a little. I might be able to teach you some random knowledge that I know. I'm willing to teach all that I know!

I can also teach you some piano! :)
