PHILOSOPHY

living with passion, fondness of play, hard work ethic, integrity, humility, an open mind and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge are some of my most valued characteristics in another person and in myself.

The experience of sharing the best of our cultures on this earth is unforgettable, and fills my days with renewed inspiration and positivity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have stayed with some great CS people while traveling abroad and shared some memorable experiences. am looking forward to hosting interesting folks in California and being a good guide for them.

I know lots of great spots in Oakland and San Francisco for art/music/underground electronic scenes. I love to experience new types of food and will be willing to try anything you would like to eat in the city. I know many good restaurants through my job.

I can also show you around the city at night and can play chauffeur if need be and pick up/drop off to SFO or OAK airport or BART (local public transportation line).

-----------------------------------------------------

I have lived several years in nearby Santa Cruz and I know the redwood forests there very well for fun hikes, biking day trips, or trips to the beach to play in the sand, by cliffs and watch kite surfers. I love to take visitors to my favorite old spots in Santa Cruz, Monterrey and Moss Landing. They are some of my favorite places in the world <3.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First learned about CS when I stayed with a CS ambassador in Peru. I thought it was an amazing idea and, because I couldn't praise their character highly enough, I believed it to be a network of like-minded people that share a passion for travel, hospitality and meeting the unknown with open arms.

I want to learn more about Couchsurfing community and help make other people's travels easy, pleasant, fun and memorable. I like synchronicity and am fascinated by the manner in which humans meet and part.
