Hello Couchsurfing community,
My name is Marie and I recently dropped everything to travel for a bit. Since what was written on my profile was long outdated, I decided to rewrite all of it.
I’m a young woman who figured out that the best thing to do, for now, is to go out there and discover.
I love to try new things, meet people from all backgrounds and confront myself to new ideas and lifestyles.
Growing up, I always dreamt of big travels and adventures and I came to realise that those dreams are easier to realise that they seem.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to host couchsurfers in my appartement, but it was mostly my roommate who was invested in the idea.

I used the website for the first time two years ago, in January. A friend and I wanted to explore more of Quebec and we hitchhiked to a town called Chicoutimi, 2h north of Quebec City. Three amazing young people hosted us there. One of them was Max, my now travelling and life partner.

I realised how many people with values and interests alike mine were in the world and how a platform like Couchsurfing could make them meet.

Since then, I hosted a bit, but never had the occasion to use the website regularly until now.

I hope my travelling projects will allow me to meet and connect with some of you friendly people.

I can tech basic poï and staff spining and, of course, french. And I enjoy sharing about experiences and différent cultures.
