Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Fighting burocracy for the Iran Visa, getting ready for the Istanbul-Teheran trip. If you have some informations and experiences you'd like to share about Turkey/Armenia/Georgia/Aserbaijan/Iran, I would be very happy!
ABOUT ME
I love to travel slowly with my two loyal companions: T. (the thumb) and Gatsby (the great backpack).
I'm open-minded, layed back and a good mixture of curiosity, loud laughter, critical mind and riot-running phantasy.
Political engagement is taking a pretty big place in my life, as well as books and human beings and making music and roaming around and writing and enthousiasm...
Itchy feet, itchy feet, itchy feet! But I'm getting better. Slowly.
(Oh, yes, always forgetting to mention that one: I'm vegan, even though when travelling I mostly eat non-vegan stuff, but still vegeterian.)
PHILOSOPHY
πάντα ῥεῖ. Everything flows.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
by chance & with conviction.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I traveled Portugal entirely from couch to couch, and all the people I had the chance to meet were really amazing. I also couchsurfed in Spain and France but not so excessively.
Interests
Better asking what I'm not into...
(Preferably I like spending my time on roofs, with people jamming, traveling, planing travels, dreaming, painting, fantasizing, writing, telling stories, getting stories told, taking part in political actions of solidarity, getting lost in between book pages, cooking, swimming, on a bike, doing yoga, talking about the universe, in museums, finding lost places. I'm working on doing it all in the same time.)

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a soft spot for surrealistic movies (my favourite is probably Città delle donne from Fellini). Also Aki Kaurismaki, Wim Wenders, Jim Jarmusch and Luis Buñuel are pretty amazing.
Musically I'm in the midst of a hiphop-phase. Sorry.
...how much time do you have to talk about books?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's too difficult to break it down to a few lines.
The latest one is definitely living in the yard of a big bourkinabé family in Ouagadougou, getting out of my moskitonet-tent in the morning and being part of the family routine the rest of the day, with the great grandma teaching me how to cook Tô.
Teach, Learn, Share
teach: I know exactly three legerdemains. And I'm pretty proud of that, obviously.
learn: to play music! I'm in the fledgling stages.
share: stories. I tell one, you tell one. Or we invent some together.
