CURRENT MISSION
Live a good life and the good life
ABOUT ME
I both grew up and went to college in the Boston area so I'm a New Englander through and through, give me a snowy mountain in the winter, a sandy dune in the summer, and a bowl of chowder any day and I'll have a smile on my face.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been on here for a few years now - I would call myself a casual couchsurfer: host a little here, surf a little there.
Couchsurfing has been a great experience for me. I've met some wonderful people and I think it's fun to get to know a new place or share my hometown with someone new.
Interests
I am really interested in language and culture and I've been fortunate enough to live in a town that's rich in both as well as travel a little bit to see how other people live.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is anything I can sing along to, particularly: Simon and Garfunkel, Manu Chao,Jarabe de Palo, The Postal Service, Sublime, Jose Gonzalez, Regina Spektor, M.I.A. and my newest favorite: Santigold.
I'm honestly not good at keeping up with movies but some of my favorites are Motorcycle Diaries (I'm a fan of South America not Che particularly), Office Space(It cracks me up every time), and anything Jim Henson ever touched.
I've always been a big reader and some of my favorites are: Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and Dharma Bums. I just finished The Brief and Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao and I think that might merit the list too, but I'll have to read it a couple more times to be sure.
