ABOUT ME

My name is Martina but I like when friends call me with nicknames, it is more friendly!

How to describe me? I'm an easygoing girl, culture friendly and travel-junky.
I can party, yes I like to drink, yes I like to dance!
but please understand I have an introverted, shy, geeky side too. And it comes out!
Enjoy life!
My closest dearest friends would say I'm open-minded, curious and that my dream (like many people) is to travel all around the world.

I grew up in a little town in the north of Italy, where there's nothing that mountains and friends (luckily).
I studied and lived in Venice (how an amazing city!) for 5 years and I miss it, good days! I moved to China for studying and working twice. In 2005 I lived in a University campus with students from all around the world, wow and then in 2009 I went there for working and I lived with a chinese family, a little bit strange family, but it was an experience I wanted to live.

Presently I'm searching myself and meanwhile I teach italian to chinese children in kindergarten and chinese to grown-up children (nowadays my oldest student is 78 years old).

PHILOSOPHY

A thousand miles journey begins with single step..
and the frog in the pond knows little of the great ocean so open your eyes and go to see the world!

Accidentaly know couchsurfing, listening to people travelling all around the world, me too want to be one of them!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not experienced couchsurfing yet but I find the idea of meeting new people all around the world very exciting and I'm simply bursting with joy in starting living couchsurfing life..

Interests

nature (that is both places and human being), photography and handmade activity, that means sew but also gardening and use drill hihihi!

I also like running (but I'm only a beginner) and trekking to the top of a mountain to see what is aroud, there I feel free :)

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: Psybient, trip hop are my best right now but I like mostly everything except, maybe, polka..however even polka would be funny if there is someone out there can teach it to me!

MOVIES: I used to like love movie but now I think it is better to live love and not to see it on tv, so I change my favourite kind of movie in any other

I've seen the of the Great Wall at sunset, wow. But I know I have not experienced my most amazing adventure yet. I am ready, now, to live it

Teach, Learn, Share

I have one basic skill for travellers: sleeping absolutely anywhere, you just do it!
It's almost like meditation, you tell yourself you can do it, and then you do it!
