Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in Milos the last years and I can host people here. By now, I live alone (that can be changed by time to time) with my 3 cats (this can be changed also) in the center of Milos, near the port, in Adamas.

Usually, I have free time, so we could have some adventures together if you like.

My house is not so big, it is aparted of 2 rooms. One is the main room as you can see by the photos, and there is also a smaller room in the entrance that can accept a fourth bed in some cases. The house has hot water, washing machine and dryer, wifi, coffe makers, aircondition, laptop, tv and whatever else is needed for a pleasant stay.
Kitchen is found in the same big room, bathroom is independent, I have a photo of it.

My main job here in Milos, is to manage some other houses that I have under me, which I rent them out to tourists during summer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Generally I had started couchsurfing more than 10 years ago, when i was living in Athens. I have hosted a lot of people there for many years and I have various interesting stories to share. :)
I had left it for some years, but now, having benn moved to Milos, I can host people again, that is something that I like very much. I like speaking other languages, especially spanish.
I have been hosted to other countries as a couchsurfer, such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Fiji islands, Budapest, Rome, Gran Canarias, Paris and other places that I dont remember. But the last years mostly I host people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have driven around the States of America and I have lived the experience of Rick. (ask me by close to tell you more :))

I have travelled in almost 30 countries.

I have hosted many amazing people in my house in Athens, and now in Milos.

I fly by myself, when I have time, by powered paragliding that I own.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have plenty of time free, and I can show my couchsurfers around or share moments with them (and plenty of beers).

Of course I share my house. I own a car and a moto here.

I also have a boat and some times I organize boat trips all over the island, so get sunscreen, hat, beers and leave the rest on me! :)

In addition I own stand up paddleboards, that we could use maybe (depends of the wind), and a wind surfing cloth that can be adapted to the paddleboard for wind surfing experience.

But the best, that a visitor can get from me, is all the things that he could learn here in Milos, about the history, the places, the life and whatever else.
