About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel, learn, wander, and understand the secrets of a wise Buddha somewhere on a high misty mountain.

ABOUT ME

I'd like to think of myself as a type of "Shantaram", impacting the world in a positive way, living life to the fullest. Very impulsive, ready to try anything......except shrimp. I've backpacked through Europe, spent time in NZ and Korea, and like to visit South America every couple years. I like waking up in strange places, and panicking for a second because I don't remember where I am. Then I remember, and sleep peacefully, planning my next excursion in some dream, lol.

PHILOSOPHY

"Every great idea is on the verge of being stupid"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I've hosted for the most part, met some fantastic people from all over the world, and made some great friends. Now it's time to catch up on travels! Will cash in some good karma, and look forward to meeting new people all over South East Asia and Oceania.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, so good.

Interests

Just picked up canyoning as a hobby in Dominica, it makes you feel like Chuck Norris. In 2015 I will get back into snowboarding in Whistler or Switzerland. I'm one dive away from Scuba certification, so I hope to get back to Anguilla for that. I read 5 books at a time, and love to get recommendations! Love falling asleep on a beach and waking up with a great tan.

Music, Movies, and Books

Have really gotten into Reggae living on the islands, but I like to hear the local guys, bands no one has ever heard of. Can't beat live guitar riffs in a dank dive bar in my eyes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once traveled deep into the amazon on an expedition to visit a remote tribe. We weren't the first ones there though, because one of the indians was wearing a purple lakers hat.

Teach, Learn, Share

It would be great to learn languages, or a new sport. My range of knowledge is mostly economics oriented, so anyone who doesn't mind be bored to death can feel free to ask for a personal seminar.

Countries I’ve Visited

Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Bahamas, Dominica, Fiji, France, Germany, Guadeloupe, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Anguilla, Ecuador, United States
