Everything below is written before I had no children :D
Now some time has passed, but I think I have not much changed, just a little bit more brain and experience and less time for adventure. Recently I restarted hosting Couchsurfers and still its so great!

It's impossible to write all about me ;) I can't sit home alone and do nothing - It's torture.

PHILOSOPHY

There are two ways to live - The first: to take maximum of all the life can give, to try to enjoy living and feel variety of emotions a human being can get. And the second: to do plain and peaceful living, like just existing. The result will be the same in both cases for sure... but i choose the first way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After couch-surfing first time i thought i would never travel with some tourism agency again.

Interessi

Traveling, hiking, camping, nature, ecology, mountaineering, climbing, cycling, skydiving, running through forests (orienteering), escaping from civilization, observing animals (especially snails and lizards :)), drinking beer and other active recreation.
Painting, reading, philosophizing about life are also good things to do.
The best I have are my friends, and the best time I have is together with them.

Musica, film e libri

Usually i dont have time for all this...
I like reading, mostly adventures or science fiction, the same is with movies.
Movies - Dogville, The Island, Fight Club, Amelie, City of God, Trainspotting, Magnolia, Sunshine, Touching The Void, 28 weeks, Bad Taste, Into the Wild .. don't remember more at the moment.
I like different music, except rap and hip-hop. But the music doesn't play big role in my life - I prefer listening silence :)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

30.03.2007. Participated first time in CS!
23.02.2007. Mountaineering in Caucasus. I think i became ill with mountains and i will return some day and climb more. this is my dream for this moment :) Next mountain in my plans is Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
10.09.2007. I have learned AFF - accelerated free fall, and doing my first solo skydives. The feeling of free fall is so surreal and the fall is so fast and unpredictable, that is the most amazing feeling i had in my life.
26.01.2008. Now i have been on the top of Kilimanjaro - roof of Africa.
26.02.2010. Exploring Amazon jungle
02.02.2011. Traveling to India together with my future husband
02.02.2012. Viet-Nam
10.10.2013. Became a mother :D
24.04.2015. Became a mother one more time and later traveled to mountains together with children
24.07.2019. Decided to host again Couchsurfers, despite of having children

I have bachelor and master degree in IT and am working as a data warehouse programmer and analyst now. I can tell you something about mountaineering, skydiving, ecological activities in Latvia, beer drinking, traveling, Couchsurfing, Riga and Latvia and life in general.
