Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To revisit my childhood travels
ABOUT ME
I'm an open-minded, down to earth guy, and genuinely interested in learning new things. I'm a documentary photographer, working on projects from political/social rallies, personal research, travel, and cultural identity. I really enjoy getting to meet new people and learn about different cultures and communities. I've traveled to/lived in the USA, Panama, Guam, Costa Rica, Ghana, Germany, France, and Spain. But I've decided to spend a little bit more time focusing on USA, as I've realized just how vast and varying it can be.
I love having a good time, whether that includes a night out dancing (or flailing, as I do) and/or drinking, or just having sincere conversation on a couch or with a coffee. I love to laugh and can be nerdy at times.
PHILOSOPHY
Try not to deal in extremes (beyond the obvious). There's a lot of grey area that people often refuse to learn, and especially understand. I think the complexities are what make us unique and beautiful.
Believe in humanity.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to name. Films I love include Children of Men, Zerkalo (The Mirror), Oldboy, The Third Man, Vertigo, The Seventh Seal, In Bruges, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and many documentaries etc
Music includes pretty much anything, from blues to jazz, post-rock and ambient to tech metal, progressive to minimal, hip hop to pop
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably the most beautiful thing I've seen was the ever-changing painterly sunrise above the Sahara Desert, on my way to Ghana. I've seen some sights, but I was thoroughly floored by this.
Teach, Learn, Share
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime."
