ABOUT ME

Right now I am finding myself. I was one of those people who had it all figured out. I was going to be a classical flute performer and live and play music all over the world. I would finish my formal education (undergrad) in roughly five years and then start grad school at The Eastern School of Music in Rochester, New York and finish in 2-3 years and get a Doctorate and blah, blah, blah. Needless to say, my plans did not go accordingly. Instead I got carpel tunnel after 4.5 years of undergrad and so far that has been that. I am still learning to accept that just because things don't unfold exactly in the time frame and exactly how you want them to unfold doesn't mean that things won't unfold. I am living and learning and opening my eyes to so many different paths that I was too closed off to see before. I may become a classical performer yet, but until that time I am going to live my life and enjoy it. I am going to meet as many people as I can and try to have the best time doing it!

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to feel things. I'll take both the good and the bad as long as I can feel something. Emotion is what makes life worth living.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I can finally change this section! I just got back from a wonderful vacation in Chicago. I came, I couch surfed and I conquered! I loved my hosts and the other csers that I met along the way. Couch surfing is going to take the world by storm. It's such an awesome community to be apart of!

兴趣

I enjoy listening to a wide variety of music, anything from Kings of Leon, to Lauryn Hill, to Jimi Hendrix, to Louis Armstrong, and The Doors. I love Music! I also enjoy running (although i'm kind of slow). I like to relax and just sit on the couch and watch netflix as well. I'm pretty easy going. I love traveling! It is my other passion after music. I hope to travel all over the world one day and know this will happen.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was wondering around New York City at night looking for a subway to get to the East Village and I ended up in Grand Central Terminal. I know to some it's nothing special, but for a mid-western girl like me who's always wanted to live in the big city, it was just a little bit amazing. Looking up at the constellations on the ceiling. Right up there with drinking sake in Tokyo, Japan on the 14th floor of a bar looking out at all those neon signs!
