About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Try to find out more about myself, and design a project for the next few years.

ABOUT ME
I would say I am easy-going, and a simple person. You can see, by the 2 sentences I have written! And I almost forgot, I am suposed to be quite smily, at least my friends say so.
I enjoy doing spontaneous plans; it is what makes me feel free.

PHILOSOPHY

turn a little bit crazy each day,
it's amazing the effect that it produces!!

also, love and admire the nature and the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To experience a different way of travelling, and meet interesting people, of course! When I once went to Cuba and stayed at a locals place instead of tourist hotels in Varadero, I decided that everywhere I would travel from then on, I would try to meet the people living there. I felt so wellcome at their place, that I want to be such a good host too. The problem in the last couple of years has been that I have been moving a lot and didn't have such a stable settlement, but I can't wait to have a nice place to offer.

In this moment, from january to june 2015, I can offer a place to overnight in Västerås, Sweden, where I am studying. We can cook together, and our guest would for sure get to know the international lifestile in the city.
Västerås is a nice city, 1h away from Stockolm with the train.

Interests

I like walking, climbing on the mountains, dancing, talking, learning languages, going to the theater, chilling with music, etc.
I also have often tried to play music, because I like trying new things, but it's not my talent. I have many interests and not so many talents...:P but I have fun trying!

Music, Movies, and Books

It is the most difficult question you can ask me, because I like many styles, and sometimes I cannot explain the reason, sometimes the context makes a movie, a song or a book special. But, here go some.
The movie I might have more often watched is Johnny English, I find him hilarious!
A book that made me travel, dream and cry was the Doctor, from Noah Gordon.
About music, I love life music, and found the Barrio Alto from Lisabon amazing. I specially like songs that tells stories. The spanish singer Joaquín Sabina brings poetry to the songs, even if his voice is not the best. I recommend it for those of you intermediate or advanced in the spanish language.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been volunteering in the social education field for some years now. Together with my colleagues we have helped improve life in a neighbourhood of Alcalá(a city close to Madrid), through fordering the meeting of people from completely different backgrounds, and building a sharing community.

Diving in the amazing blue water of Malaysia, get to know Nemo personally, and swim next to big big turtles.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some languages, even Basque, one of the oldest languages in Europe, by the way :)
I always feel I have more to learn from others that to teach, but I guess if you squeeze me, I can come up with interesting information. I can share travelling experiences and tips, and teach some healthy habits to avoid backache

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will for sure bring some typical food of the place I am living at the moment! I would like to share a nice time, and hopefully I get to pay back their hospitality by being their host in Spain.

Countries I’ve Visited
