I realize I am lacking in couch surfing references and recommendations- So I have added pictures of my reviews from Airbnb. Which is what me and my traveling partner ( Jameson) used during our trip through South East Asia in 2016. It was under his account, however the "girlfriend" mentioned in the reviews is yours truly. I have placed these pictures in "Photos", under "my home" for everyones viewing pleasure.

CURRENT MISSION
I have Gypsy feet and Vagabond heart, towns even citys as too small for me! I need to world set out before me. I need to follow the winds that call. Planning a Euro Trip between starting sometime in March or May 2017 till when ever the funds runs dry.

ABOUT ME
I am feisty though good natured person, I love to laugh and smile and do my best work under scrupulous pressure. I am a sucker for all that is animals and nature, I feel very at home in the mountains, beaches or forests. I am equally happy in museums, theaters and other swanky affairs. I have a deep love for art in all it's forms especially burlesque, body art and stage performances.

I was born and raised in Denver. I moved to Pennsylvania for school, lived there for 3 years . Now I reside in Louisiana, I've been here about 3 years as well. Trying to decide if I will stay in the south or try my hand at some place new. Im an artist, trying to figure out that precarious balances of doing what I love and still making a living.

I am an Fx make up artist by passion and trade, for those of you that do not know what that means, it is the people who make people into zombies, or make bullet wounds or props. My favorite part is actual creature creation, think Jim Hensons puppets or full body werewolfs. Also body painting, theater esk make up.

Sadly this work is a bit hard to come by so I supplement with beauty and bridal make up also well as esti work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Though I have been a long time member I have not yet used couch surfing in my travels, but am very interested to see how it holds up to hostels and airbnbs and other means.

I would really like to give it a try on my upcoming Euro Trip- I love the idea of staying with locals and having better insight of the places I visit. If I have learned anything in all my moving and travels- Its invaluable to know people that are part of the culture and show you all the hidden gems. I like to submerge myself in if possible rather than just be a blundering tourist.

I have met some great couch surfers from colorado and was so impressed with there kindness and willingness to answer my questions.

Interests

Anything and everything- I am a very go with the flow kinda gal. I can usually find something I like in every situation. I love books, movies, theater, music, nature, some clubs or bars. I am also kinda of a thrill seeker, I love skydiving, snowboarding and rock climbing. I love dizzying heights, and spectacular views. I have a scuba cert, but love snorkeling. I've only tried surfing once I was pretty terrible at it, but would like to improve. I love food too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am an avid reader, fiction mostly, documentaries, history .... the nerd in me still likes comics lol. I also enjoy pomes quite a bit. Music I would call myself a rocker, but I love all music, my cd case is filled with everything to peter, paul and mary to Manson. I love the classics like guns and roses, and queen. I also love classical music as well as operas. I do not sit down and watch a lot of TV but I do love a good movie or series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have meet the Dalai Lama as well as several other novel peace prize laureates. Archbishop desmond tutu, is one of the most amazing people on this planet.There is an amzing group called peace jam that gets youth in touch with these wonderful people to try and help make the world a better place.

I am willing to share whatever I can. Happy to teach anything of my many trades, Make up, painting, photoshoots, props, how to give a good facial or massage. I am a alright cook, if you want some food lessons or just a nice dinner. Im super crafty.
