PHILOSOPHY

You're only here for a short time, don't miss an opportunity to see the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel and it's even more fun to meet when I can meet some locals along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Backpacking in Europe, I've had contact with a lot of great people through CS. Hopefully I'll continue to meet more.

Interests

My friends would say I play tennis every chance I get. Coming from Seattle, it's mostly indoors, but I will play whenever and wherever I get the chance. In the winter, I try to hit the slopes for skiing as often as possible, though I still have a lot to learn. I'm always anxious to try to something new and enjoy spending my time with people. I'm always interested in food and drinks, especially in new places.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: hmm, I like a lot of movies, but off the top of my head, The Shawshank Redemption, Lady in the Water, Toy Story, Premium Rush (I like bikes), and there's probably a hundred more.

Music: Anything but Polka really, but Led Zepplin has always been a favorite.

Books: I love to read and will read whenever I find spare time. Currently I'm enjoying Game of Thrones series, but a few of my past likes include: the Art of Racing in the Rain, the Life of Pi, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series, along with plenty of others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My women's tennis team won the national title (for our division) in 2012. It's a great reward to earn a title like that doing something you love. We "worked" hard to get there, but I never considered it work.

In college, I studied abroad in Greece and had the time of my life. That trip change my plans for my future and I've been looking for a chance to see or hear about the world ever since.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United States, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
