CURRENT MISSION

To spend time learning more juggling, enjoying body movement, eating delicious and healthy foods, and meditating every day! ve realized I have an amazing amount of control over my happiness... its all about my perspective, about how I perceive a situation, and how emotions stem from thoughts, so I you can observe and direct my thoughts I can live happily and nurture living with positive emotions and experiences! .... but I could talk about this for hours... lets leave it for another time. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

couchsurfing is a new way of life! I have hosted and surfing both in Canada, the US, UK and Europe, and the dearest dearest friends that I have ever had have been hosts of mine on Couchsurfing! I started off as a surfer on July 31st 2008, and i just never left. We have been friends (and many times flatmates) for 7 years! awesome.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

when i live in canada im usually asking for somewhere to crash at your place, but in the summer during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2009, we hosted about 100 people that month alone! one day every available sleeping spot was taken and there were 14 people for one bathroom!!! i love CSing!

Interests

i spend most of my time in the park or in nature, or at home watching circus videos or reading. I try to juggle every day! I would like to learn to knit, but i think it will have to wait. I enjoy cooking and eating tons of healthy fruits and vegetables... im a fan of good conversation, especially over coffee.

watching live performance, conscious dance parties, poetry slams, daydreaming... also clever lyrics and literary references!

My interest lies mostly in balls though. big balls, little balls, colourful balls, clear balls, hard and soft balls.... you get the idea. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I should update this list (made in 2009!), for now, not much has changed. i like movies, books and music. of course!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i slept on top of a mountain when i lived in the rocky mountains... (see one of my photos) that was unforgettable.

I have spent a month living in a church in Scotland, I have been stopped by Italian police for juggling in public, (haha)

i have been deported from the UK. (haha again), street performed, and almost been seduced into riding into the desert with a romantic con artist in morocco. that was a close one!

I have performed as a professional juggler for 2 months in Dubai, then decided to try India. They are two totally different places! One very futuristic, opulent, westernized and clean, the other a mosaic of ancient history, buzzing activity, colour, smells, and things to overwhelm your senses! (I liked India Better!) :)

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach you how to juggle, i can show you karate moves, i can teach you how to play songs on the piano.

I have a pretty strong hold on Canadian indie music, and some other wonderful bands from around the world. Perhaps we could have a music exchange?

i definately need ideas for performance music... hang drums? ambient music, this sort of thing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a happy surfer, clean, respectful, super open and friendly! I am happy to make a meal and enjoy a night at home or on the town.
