About Me
Ciao!
My name is Lacey, I studied in Rochester NY, International Hospitality, Tourism and Event Planning. I love to travel and meet new people, which is why I am on Couchsurfing.
I have studied abroad in Dubrovnik and Dubai during my college career and last summer I volunteered at a summer camp in Italy teaching English. I am now an English professor in Crema, Italia. I hope to stay in Italy for work a bit longer since I am working to be fluent in the language!
I love to workout, play volleyball, and lots of other sports. I enjoy cooking and trying new foods. I love dancing and music of all kinds, especially Rap, Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Latino, and Greek.
I am infatuated, to say the least with culture and getting to learn about the different places I visit. I can honestly sit and talk for hours about traveling, culture, the exchange of languages and I'm always willing to learn something new!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and meet people from all around the world. My major was Tourism and through that, I have been able to meet many different people and hear many different stories which inspire me and remind me why I chose to work in international education. I'm very easy going, love to laugh and am looking to make global friends through my travels.
I'm sorry for not being verified but living in Italy on a part-time teacher stipend doesn't give me a lot of room for extra spending, though one day I hope to have a permanent home to host people myself.
Interests
I love working out, cooking, promoting health and wellness, traveling, learnin g about cultures, shopping, and making people laugh, laying in the sun, going out dancing, exploring and practicing new languages!!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reggae ton, hip hop, rap, Latino, Greek, Serbian club mixes and literally anything I can dance to because I love to dance and was raised taking dance lessons.
I love funny movies but I don't watch movies very often and my favorite books are by "Nomadic Matt".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was nominated by my University to be awarded a fellowship to teach English in Italy for one year and was accepted into the program.
I went skydiving in Dubai in January 2016 and it was BEYOND AMAZING.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English, about Wines, traveling, planning an event, and pretty much anything that has to do with Hospitality.
I'd like to learn different things in other languages, different dishes to cook, drinks to make, dances to dance!
I can share many many stories and experiences. :)
