Overview
About Me
Friendly and easy going Aussie who loves good conversation, good wine and good food. From a beautiful little part of South Australia called the Fleurieu Peninsula.
My name is Lachie and I am a 22 year old Australian ready to explore the world.
After spending 5 years reading about the world at university (Bachelor of International Relations, Master of Diplomacy), I am ready to see it with my own eyes. I plan to be adventuring around the Middle East, the UK and Europe for all of 2019.
I can happily sit and chat for hours, or can be in the company of others quite contently in complete silence. The goal of my travels is to share interesting experiences with and get to know people from all walks of life. I strive to have the "real" experience of a place and most importantly, its people.
I am a very respectful, friendly, clean and easy going traveller and would be so thankful to anyone that opens their home to me for a night or two. And of course, anyone I stay with will be welcome to have somewhere to stay in Australia.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: Arctic Monkeys, Angus and Julia Stone, The Wombats, The Kooks, Imagine Dragons, Coldplay and Of Monsters and Men.
MOVIES: Any movies directed by Christopher Nolan/Denis Villenevue or a soundtrack by Hans Zimmer, I'm there!
BOOKS: I have quite an eclectic choice of books, but always enjoy realistic fictions, like A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bungee jumping in New Zealand was absolutely phenomenal! I have never felt more alive than in that moment. I would love to share more thoughts on my experience with you.
Teach, Learn, Share
Yes, yes and yes! The world would stop spinning if we failed to move forward, learn from others and share our insights with others. Human connection is essential to living life.
