Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been studying in Granada and travelling around but as I move to Italy I'd love to get more In touch with the culture and city that makes up such an amazing place. Even if it is just for a night, I would be forever grateful to meet the inhabitants and get to know their lives and stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to listen to all types of music, be it Kanye and Kendrick in hip hop to Chet baker in jazz. Nothing more enjoyable than listening to some tunes on the way to somewhere exciting.

I adore reading and love to have books on me whenever possible. Picking a favourite would be hard but I think the Harry Potter series will always be close to my heart, Enders game will always be dear to me too.

Campy sports films have something of a grip on me, remember the titans being a favourite but a good Scorsese film is probably my favourite. The departed is definitely #1 on that list. Another favourite is mad max fury road.

I have managed to maintain my English accent despite living in Melbourne for almost 15 years. It'll slip out on a word or too and it's been pretty stubborn

I am more than happy to help with the English language or any cultural questions about Australia. I've been a keen student of renaissance history for a while and would love to be able to share and learn more information about that. I have played a fair amount of rugby in my time if you'd like to have a go at that too!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unbridled enthusiasm and willingness to give anything a go. I am very clean and would if possible love to cook for you. Cooking is a passion of mine and there nothing I enjoy doing more than sharing food with friends. I am super passionate about Italian history and really have enjoyed studying the history and art of it so perhaps there is something I can impart on you there too.
