I've been to quite a few places around the world now, although I'm currently a student in Tokyo, on exchange from my home University in Germany. I don't travel as much as I used to because I'm a full-time uni student, but I like to go and see places in the Uni holidays when I get the chance. I've been living outside Australia for a while now and I've reached some sort of competency in both Japanese and German. I'd like to refresh the Spanish I learnt when I was living in Central America a few years ago. I'm vegan, and I'm a half-decent cook too, which is helps when travelling it sometimes can be hard to find filling vegan food. I'm a bit of a guitarist in my spare time, but nothing too special. I know a few tunes on piano.

To meet locals, broaden those horizons, and have a new experience or two. It's the people around you which make an experience, not the place, although pretty nature, and historical cities are a big reason for why I travel when I do.

Spent 10 days at a Vipassana meditation course which consisted of 9-10 hours of silent, seated and still meditation every day. At these courses you have to remain silent, and avoid all communication with other people for the complete duration so that was a bit of a head spin.
